Digital Health Journal — Habits, Activity, and Therapy

The Digital Health Journal helps users track their nutrition, steps, medication intake, and mood all in one place. The app sets goals, sends reminders, and visualizes progress across all categories — making health management clear and consistent.

Key result

74% of users achieve their set goals in the first month

Case study

The client wanted an app that unifies all key aspects of healthy living, since users previously relied on three separate apps for steps, diet, and therapy. The goal was to simplify daily routines and provide a clear picture of overall progress.

During the discovery phase, we interviewed users across different age groups and found that they are most motivated by small, achievable goals and clear charts showing how close they are to their targets. Based on this, we designed a dashboard with daily, weekly, and monthly views.

The app includes intelligent reminders that learn from user behavior. If a medication dose is skipped, the system automatically suggests a new time and notifies a family member authorized to monitor the therapy.

For nutrition tracking, we enabled quick meal entries via shortcuts and barcode scanning, while the activity section syncs with smartwatches and manually logged exercises. All metrics are combined into a clear progress overview.

Pilot results showed that 74% of users achieved all their set goals during the first month, while missed medication doses dropped by 41%. The client now has clear insights into user habits and plans to expand into additional market segments.
